What kind of tournament is the Yellow Springs Pre-season tournament?
This tournament is intended to help coaches observe players in real game situation. Each accepted team is guaranteed four preliminary round games, two each on Friday and Saturday. A point system will be used to determine what teams advance to the knock-out rounds on Sunday with an opportunity to advance to the tournament championship game. |
The application form does not look right on my screen (overlapping drop down boxes, long rows over the input fields, etc.) What is going on?
First, you should let the ENTIRE form load BEFORE you scroll. It is a big form.
In short, your computer does not have enough memory (RAM) available to render the form correctly. Here is the solution that will work in most cases:
1. Clear the cache (temporary files) in Internet Explorer or whatever browser you are using (Usually Tools>Internet Options>Remove Temporary files
2. Shut down your browser.
3. Restart the computer
4. Open JUST your web browser.
5. Go to Web site, fill out form.
In most cases, this will solve the problem.... |

Is there a discount to the fees if a school brings more than one team?
Yes. First team's fee is $400 with the fee of $375 for each additional team. |
If we are bringing multiple teams, do I need to submit a registration for teach additional team?
Yes. A registration needs to be submitted for each individual team who will participate. This is necessary to make sure the teams are entered in the correct division and is then needed to create the final schedules for tournament play. |
If we are bringing multiple teams, do I need to submit an individual payment for each additional team?
A single payment for multiple teams from the same school can be submitted, unless your school's process requires otherwise. |
How and when will I know my team's application has been accepted?
When your team is accepted, you will receive a confirmation email. You will then need to log back into the site and confirm your attendance. You will then be able to download the medical/release form that must be completed and submitted for each participating player. Once registration closes and all participating teams have paid, the schedule for all confirmed and paid teams will be created and posted on the website. |
